It is open to high school students who will be graduating in 2027 or 2028. Academy is limited to 40 students.
This one week learning experience is aimed at assisting high school juniors and seniors to become familiar with healthcare career opportunities.
Highlights include:
- Experiences in clinical diagnosis of patients
- Hands-on activities and laboratories
- Career guidance sessions for healthcare professions
- Interaction with professional student mentors
Attending will also inform students of the opportunity to apply to LECOM's Early Acceptance Program, which provides a streamlined path to medical education as well as hands-on training.
